The OPW are preparing a Masterplan for state owned lands at Knockmay, IDA Business Park. The strategic Masterplan includes proposed uses such as: - Office accommodation with support facilities for various government and public service departments; - Warehouse accommodation for state file storage; - A vehicle testing centre. The change in zoning from Industrial to Enterprise and Employment is welcomed and will assist the OPW to deliver key government and public services on a strategically located site in the future Under the Freedom of Information Act 2014 I am requesting to know any further information that is contained in the 'masterplan' for the IDA Business Park. My request relates to the management of the Barnakyle stream, which feeds into the Maigue River near to Raheen in Limerick. Under the FOI Act 2014, I am seeking the following: - a copy of the business case, cost benefit analysis, or other such approval/sanction documents associated with the following project: "As part of the ongoing improvement to services across the campus, essential remedial works were carried out the kitchen between July and September 2023. During this period, the Self-Service Canteen and Members’ Restaurant were closed. This is set to also take place during Summer Recess 2024. The works involve the complete replacement of electrical wiring, water and gas piping, and the replacement of flooring, some equipment, and replacement of electrical plant work. These works are necessary to ensure continued compliance with food safety standards, and improved workflows for staff within the kitchen. They will also ensure an improved service for all customers of the catering facilities, and enhanced working conditions.
