My request is based on the outcome of earlier FOIs dealt with by the Department Request Ref. FOI/P058/2015 and FOI/p147/2015 (see below). These sought information arising from Department of Finance circular 40/20 (requirement to report on contracts in excess of €25,000 that did not go to competitive tender). This circular specified that all departmental reports are to be sent to the National Public Procurement Policy Unit - 40/02 Paragraph 8. The outcome of both of the above referenced requests were that the reports relating to the years 2012, 2013 and 2014 were released once the Comptroller and Auditor General accounts for the public service were made public. As the latest accounts, for 2015, were published last week I am now seeking the release of the reports for 2015. Under Section 17 of the Act I am requesting the release of the material in electronic form.
